It's also easy to set up and use with the app that guides you through the process step-by-step. Its ability to resume where it left off during our tests is a great feature. It did this for 77 minute on one cleaning, and then the battery died.
Unlike some of the other robovacs we evaluated, the i3+ EVO features an automatic emptying bin that dumps debris into an external dirt compartment on the base of its charging when it's full. This helps reduce the need for hands-on maintenance and also helps prevent the i3+ EVO from overfilling, but it must be manually cleaned after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dustbin can hold 2.4L, which is enough to last through four to five cleaning sessions.
Similar to the i7, this model uses state-of-the-art floor sensors to create maps and navigate in neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only store one map, whereas the i7 is able to store multiple. The map of the i7 can be used to create virtual barriers and no-go zones, but not for the i3+ EVO.
While the i3+ EVO is superior in removing dirt and debris from surfaces than the other robovacs we looked at but it's not the best for cleaning edges and corners. It's also a bit less gentle on furniture, despite being relatively quiet. It pushed chairs away from walls and caused some collisions with the sides of our bed, and also got stuck on cords and toys while testing.
2. Black & Decker Q5 Pro
The Q5 Pro is an excellent option, whether you're expanding your robot vacuum collection or are just beginning to get started. It offers an elegant design with powerful navigation and useful automation at a reasonable price. It's the best model for the money available at the moment, and it even matches some Roborock models that are more expensive in a variety of ways.

It allows you to schedule cleaning times, set no-go zones, and view the battery's condition, among other things. The app is simple to use, but it does not support Apple HomeKit. The feature is scheduled to be added in 2025. Apple updated its footnote on its website in November of this year to reflect the fact that this feature has been delayed until 2025. A few other robots aren't compatible with HomeKit however, a lot of them are compatible with Siri Shortcuts.
